Michael Braungart
Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart is the co-creator of the Cradle to Cradle design framework and a leading voice in regenerative innovation for more than thirty years. His work has shaped global thinking on how products can be designed to benefit human health, ecological systems and the economy at the same time. He has advised many of the world’s most recognised brands across multiple industries, supporting them in developing eco-effective products and systems that prioritise quality, human health and circularity.
Cradle to Cradle is built on a simple but transformative idea: products should be designed for continuous material cycles, where value is retained and regeneration becomes the default rather than the exception. By working directly with Michael as our Chief Innovation Officer, we draw from the original source of this methodology — applying its principles not as a certification exercise, but as a design philosophy for market-ready innovation.
